About the event
Join Maritime Gloucester's historian in a discussion on the evolution of the famous Gloucester Fishing Schooner. From the early Bankers of the 18th Century to the sleek Racing Fishermen of the 1920s, learn how the designs and the fishing industry changed over the decades. Guiding us will be the beautifully carved half-hull models by noted Essex shipbuilder Brad Story, currently on display in Maritime Gloucester's Gorton’s Gallery.
