“Maritime Gloucester offered hands-on programming for all five of my groups with youth ranging from Kindergarten to 8th grade. It was a wonderful opportunity for Malden, Medford and Everett youth to get up close and personal with crabs, sea stars, plankton, squid and fish of all kinds. Our younger groups enjoyed the hands-on experience of the touch tanks, while the older groups were pleasantly surprised with the Squid dissection! All of our groups enjoyed lunch out on the docks watching the fishing boats head out to sea. Maritime’s educators are great to work with, as they adapted to our needs, and delivered wonderful experiences for our campers, including accommodating large groups by rotating them through stations before and after lunch. This is definitely a trip that is worth experiencing and we will send youth there again.”
