Each week we will highlight one of the fascinating creatures living in our Aquarium. Program includes an exploration in the Aquarium, a story and a creature craft.

Each week we will offer a different hands-on marine-themed program integrating projects in marine engineering, biology and maritime history.

Guided Site Tours

All ages

Join one of our staff members for a 45-minute guided tour of the waterfront site for a full understanding of Gloucester’s past, present and future.

Sailing on the Ardelle

All Ages

Sail on the pinky schooner Ardelle, built by captain Harold Burnham. Cruises typically depart from Harbor Loop; subject to availability. Sail along Gloucester's outer harbor and pass by sights like the Dog Bar Breakwater, Norman's Woe and the mansions on Eastern Point.

Typically 10 am, 1 pm, 3:30 pm and 6 pm

Lobstering on the Western Edge

All Ages

Discover the character of America's oldest seaport by spending an hour and a half with Gloucester native Geno Mondello, a working lobsterman and boatbuilder. Haul traps. Inspect and measure the catch. Learn the tricks of the trade.
