Explore the ocean through the eyes of marine scientists and artists. This week-long program will use the ocean to inspire curiosity of ocean habitats and life, while encouraging children to understand the role of humans in the ocean ecosystem. Create an ocean diorama! Study sea gull behavior and make a sea gull kite! Examine fishing nets and make your own! Scour the shoreline to find different creatures and create a food web! This week is full of science exploration and art creation. The first half of the day will be spent on the Maritime Gloucester campus. The second half of the day will be spent at the art studios of Art Haven. Each day will include outdoor investigations and observations.
